Three activists with the radical feminist Femen movement and a Russian photographer say they were beaten and arrested by government special services ahead of a planned protest in Kyiv. The activists spoke to the media on July 28 after spending the night in custody. The four were released that day, but a court imposed fines for hooliganism and disobeying an order from police.
