Three Femen activists have been arrested in Ukraine after staging a topless protest against the visit of President Lukashenko of Belarus.

In Kyiv they tried to wake him at night outside the building where he was staying, calling him a dictator and accusing his government of repression.

Among those detained was Oleksandra Shevchenko, recently deported from Tunisia.

Femen claims that in December 2011 its activists were kidnapped and roughed up by Belarussian security services who left them in a forest near the Belarus-Ukraine border.
