The topless sextremist group Femen has gotten into a fracas with police in Berlin.
The antipatriarchal group had gathered outside a brothel to demand that the German government criminalize prostitution.
Femen was founded in Ukraine in 2008. Its female activists invariably remove their blouses in public to try to press their case against homophobia, organized religion, and the sex trade.
It is also allegedly planning to hold a Christmas Eve protest in the Church of the Nativity garden in Bethlehem, according to gulfnews.com.
Correspondent Nasouh Nazzai has reported that Femen will "delay announcing the aim of the protest until the protest occurs".
Nazzai didn't identify her sources, but claimed a number of them "have recently revealed that several topless feminist activists will arrive in Bethlehem next month during the Christmas season".
It's reportedly for the purposes of organizing the topless protest.
"The possible visit of Femen activists to Palestine has provoked Islamist Palestinian parties which have announced that such a visit to Palestine for such a protest 'will not be possible and will never happen'," Nazzai reported.
Femen often holds topless protests in European countries to register its opposition to patriarchy, homophobia, and organized religion.
