Four women braved temperatures of minus five centigrade to shout slogans and wave placards reading 'Ukraine is not a bordello', 'We demand apologies' and 'I am not a prostitute.'

Police detained protest participants after they climbed down by ladder.

The demonstration by Femen, a frequently-scandalous Ukrainian political action group supporting social and political reforms, came in response to reports in Indian media that Indian consular sections in Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan had tightened visa application screening for women aged 18 - 40, to prevent the travel of sex workers to India.
