A desperate plea for help has just come through the wires for assistance from the group Femen:
"Attention! Need help!
Today around 16.00 oclock in Donetsk 3 FEMEN activists Alexander Shevchenko, Yana Zhdanova and Anna Bolshakova were captured by a group of unknown men.
On the morning of June 15, the day of the match Ukraine-France, FEMEN activists arrived in Donetsk for action against the Euro 2012 . After their arival activists were folowed by group of 15 men as activists discribed by telephone. Around 16.00 ocloc connection was lost with Alexandra, and hour longer with Yana and Anne. At the moment telephones of activists are switch off. Also police of Donetsk denied any connections to disappearance of activists FEMEN.
The situation with Shevchenko, Zhdanova and Bolshakova in Donetsk, same as story that happened with 3 activists in December 2011 who were in Minsk, protesting against regime of Lukashenko. We understand that Donbas is a gangster autonomous region within Ukraine, and that thing that today on the match are invited political and criminal leaders make us terribly worried about the life and health of our activists and ask anyone who heard anything to call us +380661727525 and we ask mass-media to share this information."
Anyone who many know anything, or have witnessed the abduction of these brave activists please call the above number.
