Femen activists show up at Vilnius Summit

The President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich is not the only world famous representative of Ukraine that is visiting Vilnius these days. The leader of the country was followed by the activists of the scandalous organisation ‘Femen’, www.delfi.lt reports.

Femen activists were unsuccessfully trying to approach the exposition centre ‘Litexpo’, which is the venue for the second day of the EU Eastern Partnership Summit on Friday morning.

DELFI reports that that one activist was detained after a protest that lasted no longer than a few moments when she jumped out of the car with ‘Ukraine to EU’ written on her bare chest. The police knew about the possible action and, therefore, was ready to react.
