Rome: Silvio Berlusconi had to cast his vote under intense circumstances when FEMEN activists staged strip-protests as he arrived to cast his ballot in Italy's general election.
Three topless activists jumped at Berlusconi as he arrived at the polling station.
The women held a topless protest, wearing only jeans, under the slogan "Basta Berlusconi" (Enough with Berlusconi), according to news reports.
The FEMEN activists were immediately apprehended by the security officials. Two are from Ukraine while the third women hail from France.
The women were whisked away from the scene by security guards as they struggled to cover them.
The FEMEN activists are known for staging protests, it was established in 2008 and it is known in Europe for staging protest against women activists.
