It’s not everyday you see a topless protest. Then again, it’s not everyday that a country is accused of trying to legalize prostitution. The group known as FEMEN staged a protest Thursday in order to combat the government sanction of prostitution during the 2012 Uefa championship.
This isn’t the first time that FEMEN has used a topless protest before. I daresay that this might not be more effective than any other type of protest, but it certainly is more newsworthy. Maybe if the Occupy Wall Street protesters adopted some of these tactics, people would actually pay attention to whatever they are rambling on about.
