Leaders of Femen, the Ukrainian women's rights group known for staging bare-breasted political protests, demanded government protection after two of them and a male associate were assaulted while on holiday in the Black Sea. FEMEN activists attacked in Odesa

FEMEN activists were beaten up in an attack in Odesa on Saturday evening, the regional police spokesman, Volodymyr Shabliyenko, told Interfax-Ukraine. The victims complained to the police and were taken to a hospital, where they were given medical attention, Shabliyenko said.
