Four women braved temperatures of minus five centigrade to shout slogans and wave placards reading 'Ukraine is not a bordello', 'We demand apologies' and 'I am not a prostitute.' The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has denied Femen the right to register as a political organisation in Ukraine, accusing us of extremism.
Their refusal was centred around Femen’s statute, ‘an organisation of women for the protection of women’s rights and against the discrimination of women in society.’
